![]() Don't know if that's true though or they just being glitchy dogs though.Īnywho as an avid coward and mole. All zombies seem to be able to dig and in my opinion dogs can dig faster than the others. I couldn't even put a floor down to cover because that one block difference was all it took to detect me and start ripping the lakebed apart. I had to stay crouched the entire time I had a under the lake base and I was to bedrock. Under a moutain, a hill or something? Yeah, going to bed rock works. Unless they have a lot of the before mentioned. Also If I am right only dogs and cops can dig down. He has more patience for diffing than I do. I've already devoted a fair amount of time to this endeavor(thank God for the mining helmet I found!!) but don't want to continue if it's futile. Or would the first wave spawn where I was at 22:00 hours and then the next where I was later on? I've read that the zeds appear around structures and on the map it looks like there's a house in the center of the lake(I'll investigate when I play next) Is this true? If it is they could sink down to the bottom and possibly start punching their way in again. If that's the case I might have to have the tunnel entrance near another structure on flat ground so they will only mill about and not bump into land(triggering their punching fits) and then hoof it underground to my base AFTER they've spawned. ![]() I'm curious about where they spawn at night because they all seemed to be around the entrance to my mine shaft. Initially it was only about 15 blocks deep and I was only half way there at day 21 and the zeds started hitting blocks near the river creating a cave in(it didn't reach my depth but might given time) so I went deeper to where I am now. It's 40 blocks straight down and goes to the river bank before following the river to the lake itself. I've heard a breadcrumb tracking system was coming(or is already implemented?) so I dug the entrance maybe a kilometer away. I'm on day 25 and have decided to try an underground, underwater base.
